Saturn's History
Saturn logo
Founded in 1985, Saturn was a subsidiary of GM designed to compete against incoming Japanese vehicles. They were phased out in early 2010.

The 'New kind of car company' was an affordable, reliable, car line designed to be economical while attractive. For awhile the marketing worked. However, despite late efforts, sales fell and during the bailout the line was removed - Penske was close to purchasing the line, but the deal did not pan out.

Cars manufactured by Saturn:
Aura, Ion, Ion Quad Coupe, L, LS, LW, Outlook, Relay, S, SC, Sky, SL, SW, and Vue.
